Activities
will be based at the 3 churches in the centre of Cove – St Christopher’s,
Cove Methodist and Our Lady & St Dominic’s. Also hosting events will be
the Old Courthouse and Tradesmens Arms public houses. Mart’s Fish and Chip
shop and Bridges Estate Agents will also be supporting events.
There will
be traditional fayre games, a flower festival, all day entertainments as
well as seeing Scarecrows made by different local groups.
Also
this year there will be an opportunity to include a few stitches in a
continuous piece of lace for the start of the 2012 Olympic Games organised
by the North Downs Lace-makers for their ‘Pass the Pillow’ Olympic relay.
There
will also be a Model Railway Exhibition and a Special Art Exhibition.
